The Spend Radar management team is comprised of proven industry experts hand-picked by the company's two cofounders. Brian Daniels, CEO, and Rod True, COO, founded the company in 2009 based on their passion for creating profitable startups and their knowledge of the industry. Brian has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on purchasing and spend analysis technology. Rod has over 35 years of experience in information technology, with an extensive background in planning, developing and deploying large systems projects for Fortune 500 companies and state governments. Together, Brian and Rod chose team players in finance, sales, marketing and project management based on a variety of factors – industry knowledge and experience, motivation, work ethic and teamwork. Some members have been in the industry since its inception in the mid-1990s and several members of the team have worked together at previous companies in executive leadership positions. All members of the management team have worked in the supply chain technology industry in some capacity and therefore bring a unique perspective of the advantages and disadvantages of current product and service offerings. Because of this unique perspective, they are able to provide a strategic, unified vision to their current product offering with a clear focus for future developments.
