Approach to Projects
With Spend Radar, you have choices. Purchase licenses for the Spend Radar modules and perform your own spend analysis or use Spend Radar's Solutions Consultants to collect, cleanse, and classify your spend data. You then have the choice of licensing Spend Radar's Reporting and Analysis module to provide views to your data company-wide or receiving standard reports from Spend Radar.
Spend Radar's Solutions Consultants follow these same five steps for all spend analysis projects:
- Project kickoff
- Acquire the data
- Cleanse and classify the data
- Client workshops and business reviews
- Delivery of business-critical reporting and analysis

Approach to Data
With years of experience in the industry, the two cofounders of Spend Radar both agreed the most important aspect of spend analysis is the data. When forming the company, they agreed to the following Data Principles:
- All data should be maintained in one central database.
- The central database should be able to collect and maintain all spend-related data.
- Throughout the entire data cleansing and classification process the client should have access to the central database and should have complete visibility to the data.
- The client's spend data should be cleansed and classified in-house to ensure the greatest level of accuracy.
